If you want a resume, I have both a full resume and a 1-pager. My LinkedIn also has this information in a more formal presentation :)
Work
Apple (Summer 2025)
As a part of the Darwin Server team, I worked on low-level userspace software across all product lines (MacOS, iOS, WatchOS, etc.). In particular, the Darwin Server team is responsible for shipping low-level layers of Private Cloud Compute.
Sadly, I am unable to discuss the details of my internship, my intern project, or the other things I worked on. Instead, I can leave you with a the public-facing job description for a similar role:
The Darwin Server team in Core OS is looking for enthusiastic engineers interested in developing system software for Apple’s operating systems. Darwin is the UNIX-like foundation at the heart of all Apple’s operating systems, stretching from the kernel up through low-level user components. The Darwin Server team is responsible for ensuring this foundation is adaptable for use in server environments, such as with the Private Cloud Compute service that powers Apple Intelligence. In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to dive into complex technical challenges, shaping OS architecture and design of cross-functional features, actively influencing our technical direction. We are seeking candidates who are eager to learn, tackle new problems, and drive innovation through their work, while actively mentoring and supporting each other in our quest to learn and grow as technical leaders. Our environment values diverse perspectives, ideas, and collaborative styles, with the goal of creating opportunities for everyone to thrive and grow.
To-be-announced Defense Startup (Spring 2024)
Over part of winter quarter & my spring quarter, 2024, I worked at a small (~3 employees) defense startup based in San Carlos. The startup has since grown, and is now based in El Segundo ('Gundo). There I developed a couple iterations of our guidance software, implementing a vision pipeline & GNC algorithms in the process. The role was self-directed, and I took lots of ownership over what I shipped.
Tibex Technology (2019-2023)
Tibex Technology develops the LENS case management software, a case management solution for prosecutors (primarily county attorneys). For a few years I served as a full stack software engineer primarily writing integrations with a variety of services. The most memorable was a significant AXON (the body camera company) integration.
Bustout Solutions (2018-2019)
I spent a few years in highschool interning at Bustout Solutions under Tom Benbow. I did a lot of pair programming, and worked primarily with frontend technologies like Vue. For what ended up being the final project of the internship, I made a baby name chooser that searched for the names that would make the best domains.
School
Stanford University (2022 - Present)
At Stanford I am in a co-terminal BS-MS computer science program with a specialization in systems. I will graduate with the BS in 2026 and the MS in 2027. So far, my favorite courses are:
- CS 140E: Operating systems design and implementation
- CS 143: Compilers
- CS 242: Programming Languages
140E/240LX Section Leading
As a section leader, I joined a small (2 SLs, two TAs, one Professor) teaching team for two accelerated systems courses. 140E (~80 students)/240LX (~40 students) are lab-based operating systems courses where students complete labs and one significant final project. I was/am responsible for helping run our Tuesday/Thursday lab-office-hour sessions that run from 5:30p to around 1a the next morning. In these sessions I assisted students with lab, conceptual, and final project questions. Outside of lab/office hours I graded labs/final projects.
Hazy Research
In fall 2024, I worked on Tokasaurus under PhD student Jordan Juravsky. I implemented Hydragen shared-prefix attention that significantly sped up inference over large batches of queries with similar context, a common task in LLM code generation.
In winter 2025, I worked on LLM-powered chip design under PhD student Benjamin Spector.
